William Claude "Bill" Wright
Bill was a big part of Montgomery County Performing Arts Society for many years and he will be sorely missed. He served in several different capacities on the board. When Angell Wright served as Marketing Vice President Bill was her Publicity Chairman. Then for many years, Bill, took photos for both Young Texas Artists (YTA) and The Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) performances. He was responsible for the framed picture of the judges for YTA and took candid shots at the after party. He took candid photos of all the kids in the MCT, especially at the Thursday night pizza party. He also got extra shots at dress rehearsal and the night of the show. He would then put all of those photos on Shutterfly so the parents could have them and download them for free. At one time Bill would take pictures at the Patron parties and would show them in the Crighton lobby prior to the performances.
Angell said this of Bill "He loved going to all of the MCPAS performances and especially loved the Crighton Theatre."
Garlaine Kelly a board memeber and friend of Bill and Angell said this of Bill.
"Bill Wright will never be forgotten! He had an electric smile and an engaging personality. He loved to dance and loved people. He was a talented carpenter making many unique pieces of furniture. He loved the arts and our historic Crighton Theatre. Bill took excellent pictures for all of our arts organiztions. He was handsome, creative, and loved by many but mostly he loved his Angell. Bill and Angell had a marriage made in heaven and a grand example for all. He is greatly missed."
