"The Frog Prince"
October 2nd, 2010 at 7:00 P.M.
Crighton Theatre
Deep in the royal swamp, a lonely Frog retrieves a golden ball for Princess Prim in exchange for friendship and comfort. The spoiled princess doesn’t want to live up to her part of the bargain, and puts her royal Knights on alert. And so the trouble begins. Luckily, Frog gets some good advice from Ollie the wise old Aspen tree, the well-read Alligator, and the kindly Swamp Things. The Ducks, a busy Fly and dancing Flamingos also come to Frog’s assistance as the Frog’s kindly servant tirelessly tries to set things right. Even the Queen, kindly Princess Proper, and spunky Princess Peppy get involved and, despite the trouble caused by the nasty Venus Fly Traps, all ends happily. Our hero becomes a Prince (formerly known as Frog) and realizes that friendships are made, not bought—and he discovers that it is not what you are but who you are that counts.

Crighton Theatre
BENISE, and his Emmy Award Winning Nights of Fire cast, returns with a new World Music & Dance Production...
The Spanish Guitar will integrate real footage of BENISE in his voyage accross the globe. Follow BENISE's passionate journey through the cobblestone streets of OLD HAVANA, an ARABIAN DESERT, the romantic canals of VENICE, the oldest Bullring in SPAIN, a PARIS Cafe, and a 2000 year old sacred Buddhest Temple in INDIA.
BENISE's new show will feature his guitar as protagonist, as it becomes the keeper of the stories of glory and tragedy through times and world's gone by.
The enchanted Spanish Guitar becomes a treasure chest of inspiration and propels BENISE into his role as troubadour for the ages. His masterful playing speaks passionately for anyone who has ever lost something dear to them. Brilliantly choreographed dance numbers and orchestral pieces accompany the stories that were sealed inside the magical instrument.

JUICE NEWTON
November 20th, 2010 at 7:30 P.M.
Crighton Theatre
Juice Newton has been called alot of things...the "Queen of Hearts", "Angel of the Morning", "The Sweetest Thing", all titles of Juice's biggest hits. "American Girl" is her newest moniker taken from the title of her new album. But this "American Girl" isn't just the typical mom, country and apple pie. For typical is one word that has never described Juice Newton.
Juice broke high on the country charts with the much requested love song "The sweetest Thing" and later "Break it to me Gently". She further defied conventional categories by winning the Grammy for Best Pop female, the Academy of Country Music's New Female Vocalist of the Year, and a People's Choice Award.
Juice has easily straddled the fence between the changing definitions of pop and country. The freshest serving of Juice is "American Girl," her most recent musical offering on Renaissance Records. Produced by longtime musical partner and songwriter, Otha Young, "American Girl" allows Juice to showcase her varied musical tastes and influences. The first single "They Never Made It To Memphis" is a feel-good country rocker about a couple's quest to see Elvis. Other Juice musical flavors include heartbreak ballads such as "I've Been Mistreated;" a previously unreleased Tom Petty tune, " Keepin' Me Alive;" a tip of the hat to traditional country with Buck Owens' "There goes My Love;" and a few other surprises, including the Queen tune, "Crazy Little Thing," (cut before Dwight Yoakum and Gap made it hot again!). "I wanted the title "American Girl," Juice says "because, like America, this project offers a lot to choose from, and like the changing role of American women in business and society, I wanted to re-define the term. The American girl isn't so predictable anymore."
