Executive Director

Christine LeMaire

Christine LeMaire was named Executive Director of Montgomery County Performing Arts Society (MCPAS) in May 2008.  With over 28 years of business ownership and management experience this “visionary” entrepreneur has a long success record of starting businesses from the ground up and building them into major enterprises.

Christine has always had a passion for arts.  She gained significant experience in promoting concerts and theatrical productions while owning and operating a fundraising company for eight years. In that capacity, she managed five regional offices in two states and directed all aspects of production and operations for fundraising events for non-profit organizations. She built and sold a multi-million dollar mobile computer mounting business. She founded an entertainment media company to provide wholesome music for children and created the national touring “tween” pop recording group “Savvy”. Christine also served as Guild President and as a Board Member of the Greater Houston Festival Ballet for five years.

It is Christine’s desire to help bring MCPAS to the next level in serving all of Montgomery County citizens by continuing to build the organization to one of great distinction.  She is honored to be a part of such a worthwhile organization and to work side-by-side with the many volunteers who continue to make MCPAS such a vital organization in promoting the performing arts. She hopes to incorporate even more programs for children in her new position and stated, “Performing arts creates a portal to dreams and imagination, and our youth must experience professional cultural events first-hand to experience the joy that comes from hearing a great piece of music played, watching the beauty of a dance, or witnessing the live story-telling of a great play.  This is a great tradition that we must continue to experience as adults and pass on to our children and grandchildren.”

Since its inception, MCPAS has sponsored more than 320 performances of live music, dance and theater events and has sought to provide a variety of learning experiences for adults and children through master classes, lectures and special student performances. The organization also works to build relationships between the performing arts and other interests within Montgomery County.  MCPAS brings great moments in your life by bringing you great moments in Performing Arts.
